Death Of LANSON HOWELL, JR.

Lanson, the seven year old son of Wesley Howell of Martensdale, died on Saturday morning, Mar. 31st, after a few days' illness. Taken sick Sunday morning, the little fellow's case was finally pronounced as inflammatory rheumatism, death resulting in less than a week. The disease was puzzling for a time, being accompanied by high fever, but the rheumatic nature was fully apparent.

The funeral services were held Monday, with interment in Montpelier cemetery.
