Marjorie “Jean” Miller, 90, passed away February 17, 2011 at the Altoona Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Jean was born July 16, 1920 in Winterset, IA to James and Rose Perry. In addition to raising her children, she also worked as a bank teller and later was a security officer at the Mitchellville Training School.
Jean is survived by her sons, Rick (Kim) Miller and Gene (Linda) Miller; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; sisters, Velda Osborn, Mary Howard and Doris Shore; and her daughter, Sandra Stewart.
Per her request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
