Nixa, Mo.

Mrs. Barbara Ann Werner, age 65, of Nixa passed away at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Christian Health Care Nixa.

She was born April 2, 1939, at Earlham, Iowa, to Donald and Edna Kinkennon Nellis, Hawk.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one daughter Marie Werner of Nixa, Mo.; two sons, Rick, and his wife, Denise Slight of Springfield, Mo.; Donald, and his wife, Sandy Werner of Jamesport, Mo.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a soon to be great-grandson, Lucas Tanner on Nov. 11, 2004; three sisters, Beverly Post of Iowa; Marilyn Walker of Colorado; and Lucille Wriggly of Clarksdale, Mo.; two brothers, Claudie Nellis of Iowa; and Dale Nellis of Bethany, Mo.

Visitation will be 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, with the funeral service at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn. The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16; and burial to follow in Jamesport Masonic Cemetery of Jamesport, Mo.
