Death of Jack D. Bullin

Jack, the eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Bullin, of Peru, died last Friday, July 1st after a long illness. The little fellow became ill eight months ago, with flu, and has never recovered. He had been taken to hospitals in Iowa City and Des Moines, and everything possible was done for him, but it was to no avail. He was born December 28, 1918.

Jack was a very bright child, and was a favorite among the older people, as well as the younger ones. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father and mother, and little sister, Cleta. His grandparents, besides, aunts, and many other relatives also survive him. A sister, Maxine, had died previously.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home, and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
