MRS. THEO. BEARDSLEY

Clara May Cornelison was born in Madison county, Iowa, January 15, 1881, and departed this life in Mercy hospital in Des Moines, Oct. 2, 1916, at the age of 35 years, 8 months and 17 days.

She was married to Theo Beardsley January 7, 1901; to this union were born three children: two daughters, Millie Mabel, age 14, Zella Vanita, age 13 and one son, Harry Monroe, age 12 years. She was a devoted wife, a kind and loving mother, a faithful christian, always ready and willing to work for her Master. She was a cheerful and loving worker, always when at work she could be heard singing songs of joy for her Master. Her last words were to her husband: “Papa , I am going home to glory and I want you and the children to meet me in heaven.” She was a member of the Christian church at East Peru, where she will be greatly missed.

She leaves to mourn her loss a kind and loving husband and three children, a father, six sisters, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
