The funeral of Valentine Hibbs, who died in Idaho last Monday, was held at the Bear Creek church Sunday at 3 o'clock, after which a short service at the home of his son, Will Hibbs in Earlham. Mr. Hibbs had only been in the west a short time, having lived for many years at Bear Creek and Earlham, and had many relatives and friends at these places.
