Word has been received her of the death of Mrs. Mollie Brasfield of Oklahoma, and the remains will be brought her for burial.

St. Charles

Mrs. Jefferson Brassfield of Akley, Minnesota, was brought to Hanley last Tuesday for burial.

She and her husband had been at Blackwell, Oklahoma visiting with their children, when she became ill and died a week ago last Sunday.

The funeral took place at Union Chapel South Twp., last Wednesday afternoon, conducted by W. W. Williams, of East Peru.

The deceased was a daughter of John Runkle and came here with her parents in 1857.

She was accompanied by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. John McKinzie and Mrs. Henry Ross of Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Fred Runkle and mother from Stanhope, Iowa were present at the funeral.
