Obituary -

Mary Rosella Bailey, daughter of T. R. and Kate A. Bailey, was born March 6, 1899 and died July 25, 1906, being 7 years, 4 months and 19 days old.

She was in her usual health on Sunday previous and in her place at the Sunday school class at the Christian church. She was always faithful in her attendance. She was taken suddenly ill on Monday morning with spinal meningitis.

Although loving hands did all that could be done they were unable to save her and on Wednesday the death angel claimed her.

The funeral services were held at the Church of Christ, conducted by E. E. Bennett, of the Christian church, after which interment was made at the cemetery at Union Chapel, south-east of Winterset.

She leaves her father, mother, and three brothers to mourn the loss of a loving ---- daughter and sister.
