Miss JoAnn Hill, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hill of near Minburn and formerly of this community passed away at the Dexter Clinic at 6:45 Sunday evening, October 11. Miss Hill had been in ill health for some time. She was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon suffering from a heart condition.

Funeral services for JoAnn were held at the Gail Leeper Funeral home in Earlham on Wednesday afternoon, October 14. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

Besides her parents, Miss Hill is survived by her aunts and uncles including Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Ross of Dexter. One grandmother, Mrs. Lenhart of Storm Lake also survives Miss JoAnn.

JoAnn Hill, daughter of Howard L. and Pearle E. Hill was born November 14, 1943 in Porath hospital, Storm Lake, Iowa. She died October 11, 1959 at the Dexter Clinic Hospital at the age of 15 years, 11 months and four days.

She lived with her parents near Sioux Rapids, Dexter, Chariton and Adel.

JoAnn is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Hill, grandmother, Mrs. John Lenhart and many relatives.
