Services for George J. Huglin, 75, of Waukee, who died Saturday at the Riverview Manor Nursing Home in Des Moines of a heart ailment Saturday, was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Tonini Funeral Home with burial at Earlham. Rev. William Myers officiated and Carl A. Rolston of Redfield conducted the Masonic services for Mt. Tabor Lodge #293 of Dexter.

Born in Bevington, Mr. Huglin had lived near Waukee for 12 years where he farmed and was co-proprietor with his wife of Rosie’s Restaurant. He farmed previously near Dexter and Earlham. He was a member of the Mount Tabor Masonic Lodge in Dexter.

Surviving are his wife, Rosie; three daughters, Margaret Huglin of Dexter, Mrs. Grace Verberg of Allambra, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Norris of El Cajon, Calif.; two brothers, John of Dexter and Earnest of Westminister, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Hakes of Martensdale, Mrs. Barbara Evans of Waterloo, Mrs. Grace Ford of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Etta Riley of Fortuna, Colo., and Mrs. Florence Shearer of Colfax, and four grandchildren.
