Frederick Drees, infant son of Bert and Ruth Drees was born near Winterset, Iowa, Jan. 31, 1926 and passed away within an hour in the home of his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Powell. His life was only for a few brief moments but in God’s plan he has had a part. The dew drop on the flower vanishes, unobserved at the first touch of the morning sun, leaving its touch of helpfulness to the flower, so too this little life returns to God and leaves his message of love in the hearts of those nearest to him.

A brief service was held in the Powell home on Tuesday morning by Rev. D. J. Shenton and burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
