Lenny died suddenly Tuesday January 18, 2011 at his farmhouse in Winterset.
Born December 1st, 1958, he lived most of his life and graduated from High School in Des Moines.
Lenny studied physics at Iowa State University in Ames and later worked at the Computer Supply Store in Des Moines.
Lenny was known for his dry wit and extensive knowledge of electronics. He was not averse to winding his own speaker voice coils or amazing his friends with a homemade Tesla Coil.
He had a particular soft spot for the stray cats in his neighborhood and rescued many of them.
Lenny is predeceased by his mother, Elaine Meredith of Des Moines.
He is survived by his Uncle Mark Illetschko, Cousins Pam Illetschko, Sandy Illetschko, Wendy Carr, James Norlander, Melanie LaPorte, James Paul Hunkins, Nicole Norlander and Michael Norlander.
