Mrs. Orpha Ann Bryant, who has been making her home at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Philip Moore, in Scott township, died last Friday after a short illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Bryant was 78 years of age and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lamb of Webster township.

Funeral services were conducted at the Primitive Baptist church Sunday afternoon by Rev. Andrew Thompson of Stuart, and Rev. James Woods of St. Charles. Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery.
