Miller McVey died at his home in the south west part of town last Friday, after a very short illness from pneumonia.

Short services were held at the house last Sabbath afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. E. George of Cambridge. Mr. George was formerly pastor of the M. E. Church here.

The body was taken to Palmyra on Monday morning for interment, where he formerly lived. He leaves a wife, two sons: Len of Pocahontas and Lester of Indianola.
