Death of Mrs. GERTRUDE EYMANN

Mrs. Gertrude Krabiel Eymann died early Sunday morning, following an operation at a Denver hospital. The announcement came as a profound shock to her brother, W. C. Krabiel and to friends here, where her girlhood days were spent. No previous announcement of her illness had been received and the telegram on Sunday gave no particulars.

The Eymann's reside at San Antonio, Texas. Surviving members of the family are her husband and one daughter, Josephine, aged fourteen. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lillian Simpson of La Mesa, Texas, and one brother, W. C. Krabiel of this place.

The body was brought here this morning via Peru for Burial. Short services were held at the W. C. Krabiel home at three o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Simpson met the party at Kansas City and accompanied them here.

GERTRUDE KRABIEL EYMANN

Gertrude Krabiel Eymann was born in Warsaw, Ill. On February 7, 1874 and died in the fortieth year of her age at midnight July 31, 1915 at St. Anthony's hospital, Denver, Colo.

She came to Winterset with her parents in 1878, here she grew to womanhood, attended the public schools and formed friendships which have lasted a lifetime.

She was united in marriage with A. H. Eymann of Warsaw, Ill. On October 1, 1896 and they made their home in the place of her birth, later removing to San Antonio, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, A. H. Eymann and daughter, Josephine, a sister, Mrs. R. D. Simpson of Kansas City, Mo., a brother, W. C. Krabiel of this place.

Mrs. Eymann united with the Episcopal church in Warsaw, Ill and was one of those genuine Christians who strive day by day to live the true life. She was of a bright, sunny disposition, happy herself, and wishing to make all others happy. She had the gift of making friends wherever she went and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Eyman Dead

The funeral of Mrs. Gertrude Krabiel Eyman, of San Antonio, will occur this afternoon at the home of her brother, W; C. Krabiel. Her death occurred in Denver where she had gone for her health.

Mrs. Eyman grew to womanhood in Winterset. After her marriage to Mr. Eyman she lived several years in Kansas. About six years ago they went to San Antonio where they had a beautiful home. As a girl and young woman Mrs. Eyman was well known in Winterset and wa very popular.

Mr. Eyman and daughter, Jospehine, her sister, Mrs. Simpson, and Fitzroy Simpson of Texas, and Mrs. Allen Paul, of Des Moines accompanied the body here.
