A. B. Vince received a message on Friday morning from Mrs. Sample of San Antonio, Texas, saying that her mother, Mrs. S. O. Campbell had just passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell came to Peru soon after the railroad was built. He served as agent for a number of years until he was incapacitated by poor health and after his death a few years ago, Mrs. Campbell went to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Rose Sample. Thus passes another one whom we had known for years.
