John Donald Frey, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Frey, was born in Des Moines, November 15th, 1914, and passed away at the home of his parents, Saturday night at midnight, May 23rd, 1926, at the age of eleven years, six months and seven days, after a five months illness with heart trouble.

He leaves to mourn his untimely death, his sorrowing parents, one brother, grandfather and grandmother Baker of Peru, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Peru M. E. church and the remains laid to rest in the Peru cemetery.

Donald, with his father and mother and little brother, Jimmie, united with the Grace M.E. church in February, 1922, and was also a member of the Mr. Miller’s boys’ class in the Sunday school which he attended regularly with much joy until sickness compelled him to remain at home. He also attended Kirkwood school and was a child greatly loved by every one.
