Death again visited the Andrew Jones home last week, claiming the mother. Her passing occurred on Friday following a heavy major operation on Thursday. Her death came as a double shock to her family who suffered the loss of their father less than a year ago. Mrs. Jones, who was a daughter of Wm. J. and Amanda Beem of Scott township lost her mother at the age of four years and was tenderly cared for and reared to young womanhood by an aunt, Mrs. J. S. Jones.

She leaves to mourn the loss of a loving mother, one daughter and two sons. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton at the Methodist church on Sunday.
