Mrs. Harvey Brown passed away at her home in Patterson on Tuesday morning, at the age of 78, after an illness incident to old age. Mrs. Brown, whose maiden name was Martha Miles, was a sister of Isaiah, Henry and Dan Miles, and was the last of that family of early settlers in this county. The family moved here from Indiana 51 years ago, first residing near Webster. Later they moved to Patterson. Mrs. Brown’s husband passed away some years ago. They had no children, but adopted and reared a foster daughter, Mrs. W. S. Lehman, who preceded her parents in death.
