Miss Eliza McLaughlin, who has been critically ill at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lura Sayre, in the west part of town, passed away last Wednesday night. Had she lived until July 5th, she would have been 72 years old.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Sayre on Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. E. George, and her remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery, west of town.
