W. J. Hughes died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. P. Pointer west of Hanley last Friday morning, aged 94 years, 6 mo. And 2 days. Funeral services were held at the home last Saturday forenoon and his remains were taken to Percy, in Marion county, and laid to rest by the side of his wife.
