Page 1Mrs. Ella Knight died at her home Saturday night about 9:45 o’clock, at the age of 66 years. Mrs. Knight had been in failing health since the death of her husband three years ago. A year ago, her eyesight failed, which sadly added to her afflictions. Her last illness extended over a period of three or four weeks.
She was a member of the Baptist church, also affiliated with the W.R.C. and Pythian Sisters, being a charter member of both organizations, and was quite active in these as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Knight has occupied the late home for more than forty years.
Of the immediate family, she leaves three sons and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton, were held on Tuesday afternoon. A more extended notice of her life appears elsewhere.
