Page 1Mrs. M. R. Foster, who has been in very poor health for the past two or three years, passed away at her home in Jackson township, about noon on Monday. She had been a great sufferer with a heart ailment, and this with other complications hastened her death.
Mrs. Foster was a daughter of the late George Orr. She leaves her husband and one son, George, and many other relatives, to whom much sympathy is extended.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton, and burial made in the Winterset cemetery.

Page 3Edna Myrtle Foster, daughter of G. H. and Katherine Orr, was born April 7, 1874, in Wyandotte county, Ohio. She came to this county with her parents when five years of age and has resided in this county ever since.
She was married to Melvin R. Foster of this county, Dec. 11, 1895. She passed away at her home in Jackson township, on Feb. 9, 1925. She was a person of cheerful disposition and devoted to her friends, especially to her family. She has been a patient sufferer for several years and made a heroic effort to conquer her illness but when the final summons came she was willing to trust her all in His hands and say, “The Lord’s will, not mine, be done.”
She was converted and joined the Bethel Methodist church in 1896 and continued her membership in the Methodist church until her death, being at that time a member of the Winterset M.E. church.
She leaves a devoted husband and one son, George Foster, four brothers and two sisters, and other relatives to mourn her loss.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. church in Winterset on Wednesday, Feb. 11th at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. D. J. Shenton. Interment was in the Winterset cemetery.
