After an illness of a year, Mrs. Wiley Crawford of Patterson, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8th, at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines, where she had been for several months, for care and treatment. Mrs. Crawford had spent her life in the Patterson neighborhood. She was Eva Maude Leonard, a daughter of Jack Leonard. Besides her husband, one daughter survives her. The remains will be cremated and burial will take place Friday afternoon at two o’clock in Montpelier cemetery.
