EarlhamThe funeral of Mrs. Kail was held at the Presbyterian church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Fink having charge of the service. The floral offerings were very beautiful, proving the love of her friends and family. Mr. and Mrs. Kail were pioneer settlers of Madison county, living on the farm south of Earlham for many years before they came to town in 1895, making this their home until five years ago, when the husband was called to a better land. The following year Mrs. Kail, due to failing health, gave up the home she loved so well, making her home with her daughters, and occasionally visiting her son at Lohrville.
She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jewett, in Des Moines on Nov. 11. Mrs. Kail was a woman who was loved by everyone and was an ideal wife and mother. She was one who was never too busy in her own home to help those about her, who were sick or in need. She leaves the following children to mourn the loss of a beloved mother: Mrs. Andrew J. Evans, Mont; Emmett Kail, Twin Falls, Idaho; Grant Kail, Lohrville, Iowa; Mrs. B. N. Jewett, Des Moines; Mrs. C. A. Stanley, ------, Kansas, Mrs. J. F. Junkin, Earlham.
Note: Burial was made in the Earlham cemetery.
