Mrs. L. M. Hull died at the home of her daughter in Kansas. The remains were brought here for burial. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Kirby, Thursday morning. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.

Pg 3The funeral of Clara Lavonia Hull, wife of L. M. Hull of Peru, who died Oct. 9th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Montie Shields of Olathe, Kans., was held Thursday, Oct. 11th at the community church in Peru, in charge of Rev. Kirby. Burial was in the Peru cemetery.
Mrs. Hull has been ill for the past three years with an ailment which physicians at home and from other cities,had been unable to diagnose.
She was born Nov. 8, 1862 in Wayne county, Iowa, and married to L. M. Hull Jan. 2, 1881 at Gilman, Iowa. Most of her life was spent in Marshall and Madison counties. She leaves to mourn beside her husband, a sister, Mrs. Charles M. Johnson of Gilman and five children: Mrs. Lulu M. Scott of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Blanche Shields of Olathe, Kans.; Mrs. Myrtle L. Bass of Chicago, Ill.; Miss Lelah J. Hull of Seattle, Wash.; and Lawrence W. Hull of Peru; and two grandchildren, Mrs. Elsa L. Ridgeway of Kansas City, Kans., and Lawrence Laverne Hull of Peru.
