Memorial graveside services for Edward A. Wright, 89, Winterset, who died March 25 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be held Thursday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Winterset cemetery with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. The body was cremated.

Born in Madison County on March 5, 1900, he was the son of Charles and Eva Griffith Wright. He was a military civil service worker for the U.S. government.

Mr. Wright left Winterset two years after graduating from high school and returned in 1962. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, a Boy Scout leader for several years and a former member of the Lakeview Country Club.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Georgia Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
