Peru

Al Turner of the old town, had a stroke of apoplexy Friday morning and died Sunday morning.

The funeral occurred from the home Monday morning at 10 o'clock.

Those coming from a distance to attend the funeral were his son, O. Turner, of Weldon, his daughters, Mrs. Cash, of Leon, and Mrs. George Johnson, of Murray; Mrs. Turner's sister, Mrs. Wilson of Van Wert; and brother, Elmer Gibbard of Des Moines.

The remains of Cap. Turner were laid to rest in the Peru cemetery Monday.
