James, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Reimann, was born June 14, 1888, in Jefferson township, Madison county, Iowa, which has always been his home, and died Oct. 1, 1913, age 25 years, 3 months and 17 days after being sick a week with pneumonia.

He leaves to mourn his death, his mother, one sister, Mrs. Ed Young, Dallas, Texas; four brothers, John, Jefferson, Iowa; Charles, living near the home place; Emil and Harry at home. One brother died in infancy and his father Feb. 26, 1905. James was a good hard working young man, was congenial and helpful and a favorite among his associates.

Funeral services were held at the Jefferson United Brethren church Friday, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis and interment was made in the church cemetery.

There were present R. G. Scholz of Frankfort, Kansas; L. E. Scholz of Beatty, Kansas; Mrs. Laura Keiper, St. Joe, Mo., brothers and sister of Mrs. Reimann.
