SADIE MARIE GIFFORD, Winterset
Sadie Marie Gifford, 87, of Winterset died Sept. 19, 2010, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Jim Howland officiating. Burial will be in the Peru Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Sadie Gifford was born March 14, 1923, in Madison County to James and Leila (Oglesbee) Gifford. She worked at Innovative Industries in Winterset for many years. Sadie attended the First United Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, James, Donald, Billy and Dale.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
