Child Drowns in Water Tank

A fatal accident of the most distressing nature, occurred last Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hardin Livingstone, who reside on the Wilson farm northwest of Macksburg. While Mr. and Mrs. Livingstone were doing their evening milking, their little child aged one and a half years, fell into a water tank and drowned before the parents discovered it.

The sad news came Thursday morning of the drowning of the eighteen months old child of Mr. and Mrs. Harden Livingston. While doing the evening chores on Wednesday, each parent thought the little one was with the other one and when they found it was not, and instigated a search, they found it in the water tank. The funeral occurred Saturday. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
