The body of John Drake, who died in the hospital in Des Moines last Friday, was brought to Winterset on Monday and burial made beside the body of his mother in the Rock City cemetery. Mrs. Drake, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Ward and Miss Ella and George Ward accompanied the body. Mr. Drake was a brother of Mrs. Ward. He was a nephew of the late Mrs. W. Miller. They had often visited Cummings, and a cousin of Mrs. J. in the city.
