Thomas Huffman, an old and highly respected citizen of Ohio township, and Madison county, died at his home in Truro, last Friday night, and was buried in the New Virginia cemetery Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Huffman for many years resided on a farm just across South River in the above county. It was on this farm that they raised their family of six children, three boys and three girls, to manhood and womanhood and later they saw all of them leave this home for homes of their own. Several years ago Mr. and Mrs. Huffman moved to Truro to spend the remainder of their days, and it was from this home that he passed to the Great Beyond.

He was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and a member of the Christian church at Truro.

He was preceded to the grave by two of his children and the companion and four children with several grandchildren and a host of friends are left to mourn his death.---New Virginian.
