Vaughn K. 'Pat' Patrick, 87, Beatrice, died Saturday (Nov. 28, 1998). Born, St. Charles, Iowa (June 10, 1911).

Retired wire chief, field superintendent, Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America, Beatrice, 42 years. Member: First Christian Church; Beatrice Lodge 26, AF&AM; Scottish Rite Bodies; Sesostris Shrine Temple; Blue Valley Shrine Club, Firemen Unit, charter member.

Survivors: wife, Evelyn D. (Hatovec); sister, Phyllis Young, St. Charles; brothers, sisters-in-law, James C. and Ruth, Indianola, Iowa, Dean R. and Barbara, Bridgeman, Mich., Donald F. and Ella, Glen Elder, Kan.

Preceded in death by parents; son, Charles Milton; two half sisters; two half brothers.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, First Christian Church, Beatrice. The Rev. James C. Patrick. Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Visitation: Monday, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., Griffiths-Hovendick Mortuary; Tuesday, 8-11 a.m., funeral home; one hour before services, church.

Masonic service: 7:30 p.m. Monday, funeral home. Memorials to church or Parkinson's Disease Association.
