Death of DR. E. C. STURMAN

Dr. E. C. Sturman died very suddenly at Hartford, in Warren county, last Sunday morning. He was forty six years old and it is about eighteen years since he left here to engage in the practice of medicine, where he has been continuously during that time.

Eldon, as he was familiarly called, was one of the exemplary young men of Union township. His father dying while he was quite young, Eldon was the chief reliance of a widowed mother and several sisters.

Besides managing the farm, he sometimes taught school. When the domestic affairs were arranged so that he could leave home, he completed a medical course of instruction and located at the place which remained his residence until death.

He was highly esteemed in the community in which he lived, and a large concourse followed the remains to the last resting place. The Masonic fraternity of which he was an honored member, conducted the funeral services.
