Obituary

Dr. John Seevers died at his home in Osceola, Mo., Tuesday July 27, 1909. He was born near Oskaloosa, June 30, 1844, and spent his early life here on his father’s farm just east of Winterset.

He studied medicine in the office of Dr. L. M. Tidrick, and began his practice in Greenfield. Since 1881, he has resided in Osceola, Mo., and has been in active practice until the past four or five years, his health barely permitting him to do office practice.

He was a brother of George Seevers of this city, and is survived by a wife, four daughters, one son, on grandson, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held in Osceola, July 28, conducted by the Masonic Lodge.
