Mrs. Mack Hockenberry Dies From Collapse Caused by the Heat.
Mrs. Mack Hockenberry was overcome by the heat on Wednesday morning and died on the evening of the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Hockenberry were among the older settlers of Jackson township and removed from the farm some years ago to live in Winterset, after spending a year in travel, and visiting with their children.
Mrs. Hockenberry is survived by the husband and seven children, J. H. of this place, Will of Earlham, Mrs. Geo. Cram of Scott township, one daughter resides at Denver, two at Great Falls, Montana and the youngest son Frank, resides at Hansen, Nebraska.
The day of the funeral has not yet been announced, but it will probably not be held until the last of the week.
