Miss Lydia Allen passed away on Wednesday morning after a lingering illness from stomach trouble that gradually sapped her strength and vitality until life was extinct. Miss Allen was an active member of the Friends' church and will be greatly missed from her usual place. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Friends' church. Interment was made in the Bear Creek cemetery.
