April 15, 1914, page 1 Funeral Services of Mrs. Ada Dugan
The funeral Services of Mrs. T. V. Dugan were held in the United Presbyterian church, Sabbath at 5 p.m., Rev. Wilson, pastor of the U.P. Church at Pitzer, presiding. The remains of Mrs. Dugan were not taken to the church. Friends called at the manse from 2 to 4:30 p.m. who wished to see her. The impressive and largely attended service, filling the church, was spiritual and simple, but very comforting, for all the churches alike, felt deep sympathy for both Brother Dugan and his congregation
The U.P. Choir, a quartet, sang beautifully; Rev. L. F. Davis of the Church of Christ, read the scriptures; Rev. W. R. Moon of the Baptist church offered prayer; Rev. J. S. Corkey of the Presbyterian church, spoke from Rev. 14:13, and Rev. W. G. Hohanshelt of the M. E. church, spoke from 2 Cor. 5:1. The floral offerings were bountiful and beautiful expressing a wealth of love to Rev. Dugan and his wife.
