February 12, 1975Funeral Services are pending here for Mrs. Art (Mabel) Ziegler of Winterset, who died here this Tuesday noon, February 11. She was 71 years of age.
The body will be at Collins Funeral Hoe until Friday morning for viewing.

Final rites for Mabel L. Ziegler, 70, a longtime resident of Madison County, were held here last Friday, February 14. Mrs. Ziegler died suddenly here on Tuesday, February 11, 1975.
Mabel Loretta Ziegler was born at Churchville on May 26, 1904, the daughter of John I. And Katherine Powers Shafer. She was married to Arthur Carl Ziegler at Assumption Catholic Church in Churchville on November 24, 1930.
A resident of Madison County for the past 44 years, Mrs. Ziegler was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the St. Joseph Altar Society. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur C. Ziegler; one brother, John Shafer of Newton; and two sisters, Pauline Jones of Austin, Minn. and Gladys Wiedman of St. Charles.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset, with the Monsignor William J. McMahon officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
A rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
