Obituary – Mrs. Morey

Mary Frances Morey, daughter of John and Phoebe Busby, was born in Madison county, Indiana, January 26, 1841. Departed this life January 6, 1911, at the home of her daughter Mrs. F. D. Campbell at Winterset, Iowa. She was married in Vermillion county, Ill., in 1865 to F. R. Morey, moved to Adair county, Iowa in the year 1872 and to Winterset in 1875, which continued to be her home until death.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Campbell, with whom she made her home for the past 35 years, also by one brother, D. F. Busby of Creston, Iowa. Mrs. Morey was a warm hearted, home loving woman and was deeply beloved by those who had the opportunity of knowing her intimately. In religious belief, she affiliated with the Methodist church, of which she had been a member since childhood.
