Death of Mrs. McPherrin

Mrs. Margaret McPherrin, one of the earlier settlers of Jackson township, died at her home two miles north of Pitzer on last Friday afternoon at the age of eighty six years. Mrs. McPherrin had been an invalid for some time and her death was hastened by injuries sustained in falling from her bed a short time ago.

Funeral services were conducted at the Pitzer U.P. church on Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Margaret Bunn, who has made her home with her grandson, Loren Tobin, fell from her bed and broke her ankle last Tuesday and on Friday, she died. She had been a sufferer for about 15 years from chronic rheumatism and unable to leave her room in all that time.

The funeral was held at Pitzer, Sunday afternoon and burial in the Jackson township cemetery.
