Patricia Ann Mills, 81, of Whittier, Calif., died June 21, 2010, after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Patricia Mills was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Des Moines to Guy and Lucille (Clements) Moore of Earlham and was a 1946 graduate of Winterset High School. Patricia moved to Whittier, Calif., in 1963 where she was a stay-at-home mom. She later worked as a word processor for Bechtel Power Corporation, Parsons Power Corporation, and Sanford Photography Studios until her retirement at age 80.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann (Mills) Shepley; and two sons, Kirk Mills and an infant son, Jimmy Mills.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Mills) Schleiger of Anaheim, Calif.; one son, Jeff Mills of Las Vegas, Nev.; and three grandchildren.
