Nelson Litton, aged 87 years, died at his home in this city yesterday, after a number of years of poor health. The funeral occurred today.

Nelson Litton, one of the oldest residents of Madison county, died at his home in Winterset Tuesday of last week. He lived in Union township for many years and in the city for the past ten or twelve. He was nearly 87 years old.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter. The funeral occurred Wednesday.
