Frank Prohaska died at the Winterset Nursing Home Wednesday evening about 7:00 p.m.

The funeral will be held in Earlham at the Welch Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 18.

Obituary

Frank John Prohaska, son of Paul and Antonia Prohaska was born at De Soto, Iowa, August 19, 1873, and passed from this life July 16, 1952 at Winterset, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 27 days.

He moved with his parents when a small boy to a farm near Earlham where he grew to manhood. He spent the most of his life in Dallas and Madison counties, the last eight years being an invalid.

He leaves to mourn his passing one son and one daughter, two grandchildren, one sister and one brother and a host of relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Earlham Masonic Lodge, and likewise a member of the Consistory of Des Moines, Iowa.

Frank was one of those quiet characters, but took great delight in visiting with his friends and neighbors. Before he became an invalid he was frequently to be seen on our streets.

Services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Welch Funeral parlors by the Rev. S. R. Overholser. The body was laid to rest in the Earlham cemetery.
