Mr. Hunter, who had celebrated his 100th birthday March 20, died at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fastle, Monday morning.
Mr. Hunter, who was familiarly known as “Bill” had lived in Earlham over 60 years. He used to tell about his first arrival here when he was advised that Earlham had been a good town but there was no longer any future here for a young man. However, Bill didn’t take that advice. He spent most of his life here and was always a booster for Earlham.
