MORTUARY - Alexander H. Wilson

Alexander H. Wilson was born in Madison county, Iowa, June 12, 1857, and died at his home on Jan. 25, 1914 age 56 years, 7 months, 13 days. He was married to Sarah E. Porter on Dec. 26, 1885. To them were born two children, Alta Grace, who died Feb. 14, 1887 and Walter I., who with his mother, survives him.

He joined the Christian church in 1893 and has been a faithful believer ever since. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and will be greatly missed by the community in which he lived.

He is survived by two brothers and one sister, W. L. Wilson, who lives in Des Moines, J. E. T. Wilson and Mary E. Baker who live in Winterset. The funeral was held at the Fellowship church on Tuesday, conducted by R. Harmond. Burial at the Kilgore cemetery.
