Page 1Death of Mrs. Julia Bunker
Word was received here Monday morning, of the death, early that morning, of Mrs. Julia Bunker, mother of Dr. J. W. Bunker of this place, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Woods in New Providence. Mrs. Bunker was about 70 yeas of age and she and her husband Oscar Bunker were early settlers of Hardin county.
Mr. Bunker died in 1915. She has been in poor health for a number of weeks, with cancer, gradually becoming weaker until she died, Monday Nov. 5th.
Funeral services were held in New Providence on Tuesday, with burial in the New Providence cemetery. She is survived by four children; Mrs. Clifford Madden of Omaha, Mrs. Roy Woods of New Providence, Everett Bunker of Des Moines and Dr. J. W. Bunker of this place.
