FUNERAL AT TRURO FOR EDNA BATES, 41

Funeral services for Edna Mae Bates 41, of Murray were held Monday from the Kale Funeral Home at Truro. Miss Bates died Friday, Nov 15, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

The daughter of Jim and Iva Brown Bates, she was born Dec. 22, 1926 at Nevada, Iowa. She was a nurses aid.

Officiating at the services Monday was the Rev. Lloyd Knouf. Burial was at Collins, Iowa.
