Christmas Eve when all were anticipating a merry Christmas, Mr. J. B. Huffman received the sad intelligence of the death of his son’s wife, Mrs. George Huffman, of Guthrie county. Mrs. J. B. had previously gone up there on a visit and was there at the time of her death.
Mrs. George Huffman was well known in this vicinity, having taught two terms of school in the Middle River school house. She was known only to be loved. And although her body is sleeping in the cold earth, she will ever have a warm place in the memory of those who knew her. We will assure the family and bereaved friends of our heartfelt sympathy in this their time of trouble.
